Domestic demand for industrial goods rose 5.2 percent in May to June, according to the Brazilian Institute of Applied Economics, o Globo and Folha DE Sao Paulo reported. According to the National Geographic Statistics Institute's survey, industrial output increased in June in 14 of the 15 regions surveyed, with the Amazon region returning to pre-epidemic levels.
