Brazil's beef exports are expected to exceed 3 million tons this year, up nearly 4% year on year and accounting for a quarter of the world's total, according to the US Department of Agriculture, the Brazilian newspaper El Economiale reported. According to the US Department of Agriculture estimates, Brazilian beef production this year should reach 10.57 million tons, up 2.13 percent year-on-year, global beef production of 59.15 million tons, slightly lower than last year's level.
